Goodwill

I have happened to become forgetful. And I have felt the bad taste of it already! Thankfully, it all ended well, and hopefully I learnt my lesson.

On one of my trips – this time it was from Warsaw to Copenhagen – I managed to forget my camera (the very same that most of the pictures on this site are made with) on the plane. In all irony – I realised it only as I had to board my flight from Copenhagen to Riga. Fortunately, the flight was delayed, so I could have a chat with the security of the airport – and got a reassurance that very often forgotten things in the Copenhagen airport actually find their rightful owners.

So I would now like to express my biggest gratitude to the honest people working in the Copenhagen airport police, as a couple of days ago I finally received a package – with my camera inside. It took some time, and the bureaucracy was a bit tedious (they did not accept money transfer, payment with a credit card, or any other civilised way – only a physical cheque (!!!) had to be sent to Denmark), but in the end – I am a happy puppy now (although I said it right here, it does not give you the authority to use this phrase against me when I am in a different mood).

I just wonder what would have happened if it was not Copenhagen airport, but let’s say Kiev? Or even Riga for that matter!

Be careful when leaving the plane! Check for your belongings! UPD: And if you just cannot resist leaving something valuable on the plane – just do it in Copenhagen!
